Field Force Automation

Aelera has worked with clients -- whose fleets include thousands of field service personnel and vehicles -- to redesign, reconfigure and automate their field force for improved performance and efficiency via:

  • Enhanced Appointment Scheduling - Aelera automates our customers' appointments and scheduling, tracking such factors as appointment dates, appointment types, and special instructions to the field regarding the appointment to significantly increase the satisfaction of customers. As appointments are scheduled, cancelled and closed, the field capacity or "pool" of appointments is dynamically decremented and incremented through a Capacity Management system that is customized to our clients' unique business requirements.
  • Skills Matching - Certain appointments require specific field skills. By maintaining a skill set profile for the various field-force agents, the system is able to automatically manage and assign those appointments to the field-force agents with a matching skill set.
  • Dispatching and Capacity Management - Field-force capacity is divided into geographically-defined categories enabling the appointment to be assigned to those field-force agents closest to the customer's location.
  • Appointment Closeout - Once an appointment is executed, the field-force agent provides information describing the appointment's disposition, such as:
    • "Was the appointment successful?"
    • "Was any special equipment used during the appointment?"
    • "Are there any additional billings to be appended to the customer's invoice due to additional work performed during the appointment?"
    Based on the appointment closeout information, additional processing of the customer's information can be performed, such as changing the customer's status or sending an invoice for the use of special equipment.
